Dr. John Tan is the founding president of the Youth Work Association of Singapore and the executive director of CARE (Children-at-Risk Empowerment). In his studies, Dr. John received a doctorate from Fuller Seminary, Los Angeles, for his dissertation on mentoring at-risk teens in Singapore. He now invests his time into equipping today’s youth workers to reach out to young people in order to stem delinquency and to help them in achieving their aspirations.
