Chris joined the Royal Navy at sixteen years of age, before starting his career as a footballer. He is now a popular pundit and analyst for Sky Sports.

Episode 29 – Reuben Davidson | I Love Youth Work

On today’s show, Bob Singha meets Reuben Davidson, Training and Education Project Worker with Allsorts Youth Project (South-East).

Based in Brighton, UK, Allsorts Youth Project listens to, supports and connects children and young people under 26 years who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or unsure (LGBTU) of their sexual orientation and/or gender identity.

Reuben delivers workshops in schools around homo/bi/transphobic behaviour and language with support from the young people’s Peer Educator team. He is also the Rainbow Flag Award project worker and lead for the South-East Region. Reuben is also the Development Worker, overseeing Allsorts Youth volunteering programmes.

Caribbean Young Person of the Year: Johanan Dujon

Johanan is the founder of ‘Algas Organics’, an indigenous biotechnology company in the Caribbean. The company develops commercial agricultural products from harmful Sargassum seaweed, unblocking fish landing sites, reducing the harmful effects of the seaweed’s hydrogen sulphide emissions on local communities and providing jobs to employed young people.
